With over 20 years of experience managing content services, Kate Walton, Steyer’s hands-on CEO and Owner, is a lifelong content geek. She has worked as a corporate writer and communications consultant; she has also managed large content teams in a range of environments including boutique agencies, multinational corporations, tech start-ups, and global consultancies. Equipped with a B.A. from Harvard and an M.B.A. from Wharton, she’s a passionate humanist, a sharp strategist, an operational wonk, and a credentialed facilitator with a zest for building teams that excel. In addition, Kate is the founder of of Work Stew, an online collection of essays and interviews in which people ponder their work lives. These days, she spends most of her free time taking to the stage as a storyteller; this past spring in Seattle, she was featured in The Moth’s GrandSlam.
